Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient healing art passed on by Buddhist monks through the centuries. Its origins lie in Ayurvedic medicine, founded in India over two and a half thousand years ago.

The treatment involves assisted stretches and is often described as 'applied Yoga'. Pressure is used on specific areas of the body relating to energy or Sen lines.

Traditional Thai Massage keeps muscles and joints supple, helps to assist posture and alignment, and is used to relieve many common ailments including;

• Stress related problems
• Back or neck pain
• Constipation
• Headaches
• Insomnia
• PMS

Di Faulkner is qualified to practise Traditional Thai Massage, having trained and studied in Thailand with Yan Prahpas Sangkhawat, an instructor from WatPo Medical School.

The treatment lasts approximately one hour and loose clothing is essential.
